Adventure 1 in Bloggerland

As Steve and I were discussing some of the people in our lives, and the blogs that they write, we thought it would be a neat idea to write one together.   The idea of a joint blog seemed simple, fun, and somewhat adventurous.  Straightaway I began picking colors, photos, layout, and all of the design elements of our blog.  We have a similar style in colors and design, so I knew he would be ok with the colors I chose. 

I also went ahead and titled our blog, as you have probably read, "Walking In Step."  As a woman, I quickly resorted to a sentimental and somewhat spiritual title that would "encompass our life."  The thought that probably went through my head was something like this: "Well, what will we be writing about on our blog...hmm...our life adventures...and most likely the Lord!"  I then arrived on our title "Walking in Step" because we will be walking through life with both the Lord and each other.  Makes sense right?...right!

Shortly after I applied my clever, meaningful title to the blog, I heard a voice come from the rocker in the corner of the living room.  It said something like this, "You know what we should name our blog?!  "The BLERG!"  Of course that was coupled with a clever look on his face as well.  It was at that point that I knew this blog would be more than a blog about our adventures as a married couple, future children, cooking, home projects, and vacations...I had to take into account that this very blog may also include postings about sports, jokes, and other "guy stuff." 

I guess that is the price I will pay for sharing the same blog space with my husband.  I am actually getting really excited about this "everything blog" the more I think about it.  If all that comes from it is a way for us to document things that happen in our life together, than my vision has been accomplished...even if those events include things like Steve blogging about the Packers making it to the super bowl next year.
